About the Event

On the occasion of the 19th May, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Ljubljana is organizing a 5 km run on 24 of May 2026, Sunday at 10.00 starting at Brdo, Cesta Na Bokalce 40 Ljubljana.
This cultural event aims to commemorate Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Türkiye, and observe the significance of the special day dedicated to youth and sports while promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Awards

1. Turkish Airlines will award the first-place winner a round-trip ticket from Ljubljana to İstanbul.
2. Medals will be awarded to top three finishers.

Participation Rules

1. Registration is mandatory.
2. Food will be provided at the end of the race.
3. Water stations will be positioned along the route.
4. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
5. Organizers reserve the right to modify the program if necessary.
6. By registering, participants agree to follow all safety and event guidelines.

The registration fee will be used for the services provided by the organizers (30 EUR per person).
